Pete knows Communist China is a threat to our American way of life. As a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, he has been a leader in combating the Chinese Communist Party and protecting our homeland. Pete introduced bipartisan legislation to strengthen America’s ability to stop foreign adversaries from owning farmland, including the CCP. He voted to invest in better weapons, training, and military equipment to deter Communist China. And he has introduced legislation to limit Communist China’s ability to take advantage of tax incentives meant for American citizens.

Alongside President Trump, Pete is helping America bring peace by leading with strength. Pete voted to invest $150 billion in strengthening America’s national security. He voted to deliver $168 million in funding for Offutt Air Force Base and $2.5 billion for the Sentinel ICBM program – partially based in Western Nebraska. And he voted to fund the Golden Dome, protecting America from global threats.
